Welcome to my blog. My name is Lorna Olitch and I have been a active dog owner and lover all my life.  I first came in contact with dogs when I was first born.  My father had a Springer/Cocker Spaniel named Gypsy.  Gypsy became my best buddy until I was 10 years old and  that was when Gypsy went to Dog Heaven.  The next dog was an Irish Terrier named Rusty.  Rusty came to us from a teacher my mother knew.  She wanted a good home for him.  Chipper another Irish Terrier that I bought from the owner of Rusty was the next dog in my life.  Chipper life ended in a tragedy, he was accidentally poisoned.   A Bouvier named Salvador, came into my life about 13 years ago from a lady who wanted a good home for him also.   I’m sad to say that now I don’t have a dog, but I have a cat who is a wannabe dog, so I guess that is the closest I can come to having a dog  right now.
